New haircut

Yesterday while Gracie was next door playing I decided to give Charlie a buzz cut. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I was a little nervous since I've never done one before. Well, Wade got home and together we gave him a haircut. I think it turned out pretty cute, but it did make him look a little older, and I didn't want that. But it's so much easier to take care of now. I may be a little partial, but I think he looks like a mini Brad Pitt here :) Isn't he the cutest!??! I loved the picture of him looking up at daddy Giving daddy a kiss...priceless! Ya, we still need to get him some boy sunglasses....do you guys like his new do? :)

Weekend in Minnesota

Last weekend we drove 7 hours to Rochester, Minnesota to visit Wade's best buddy Tom and his fiance Leslie. Tom and Wade have been friends since grade school, but Tom recently moved to Minnesota for his job. While we lived in Washington Tom and Leslie came out to visit us 4 or 5 times, the first time being Tom's first airplane ride! We drove up with another guy Wade went to grade school with and his wife Lindsey. We got along with them great, and it made the long drive go by much faster. The six of us got along great, and we were sad how quickly the weekend went by. We got to do some shopping at the largest Ikea I have ever seen, and we also hopped over to the Mall of America. They were both amazing and a little overwhelming, so much to see! We had a GREAT dinner Saturday night, and it was so cool to see the town they are living in. But man it was COLD! It was nice to get back and see that tomorrow we will be hitting 70 degrees! Anyway, we loved the weekend and we miss you guys already! And thanks to Wade's parents and Wes and Jill for taking the kids for the weekend, it was so nice to have a break from them, but i couldn't wait to get back! New Baby!

Our good friends Mark and Jessica welcome their third child...a beautiful baby girl named Merayya Cru Drummond on Feb. 20. Big brother and sister are super excited and we can't wait to get out there to hold her! Congrats you guys!

Crazy Weather!!!

It's been so cold here lately that we were excited when we heard that we would get some warm weather over the weekend. Saturday got up to 60 and Sunday was an unbelievable 72 degrees! We made sure to take advantage of it and we biked 15 miles to break in our new bike trailer. The kids loved it, but it was quite the workout, and I wasn't even pulling the kids! We made sure to stay outside most of the weekend, which was a good idea, since today it was cold and icy, and tomorrow we are expected to get 6-8 inches of snow. Come on spring!!!
