Going Home!!

I hope you guys enjoy the clip below. Gracie and her preschool went to a retirement home last night and sang Christmas songs. It was so cute to watch them and all the grandmas and grandpas were so happy to have them there. In the evening we went to Gracie's Christmas program, but I wasn't able to get any good pictures. Gracie did a super job though and sang her little heart out. Well tomorrow we head out...so I won't be posting until I get back, so it will be a long two weeks without any exciting news on here, but i'll have a TON to post when i get back. I'll still be able to check in and i can still get e-mails, i just won't be able to post any pics. I know i'm seeing a lot of you in the next two weeks and i'm so excited!! Merry Christmas to you all from the Gentemann's!!!

Christmas at the Gentemann's

Yesterday we celebrated Christmas with all of Wade's family. The kids got a TON of new toys, clothes...and they LOVED it!! It was fun watching them both get so excited this year. Gracie can't believe that she still gets another Christams with more toys...ya, I think since they are the only grandkids on either side they might be a little spoiled. But I was very proud of both them, they made sure to hug and thank everyone after they opened each gift. Now i just need Wade to finish the basement so i have somewhere to put all these toys!!!!

More Snow!!!

The kids woke up very excited this morning to see SNOW!!! Our friends called us and we headed over to go sledding on their hill...thanks Renee, the hill was awesome and the kids had a blast!

Tuesday Playgroup...more cookies!!!

We had playgroup with our other moms group at our house Tuesday and it was a blast! The kiDs had a lot of funny decorating cookies...but I think I've had enough now!! :)

Happy Birthday Pappa Chuck!!

Happy Birthday Pappa, so glad we got to spend the day with you! Also, Happy 30th Anniversary to Gigi and Pappa! What a tribue to love and marriage to see you guys so happily married for 30 years! I can't wait to see what the next 30 will hold! Here is Gracie in front of one of Gigi and Pappas trees, she was very proud because she helped decorate it. Gigi had a fun craft for Gracie to do...she got to stick the stickers on this box to make her very own nativity scene.

Yummy treats

I was in full cooking mode today!! Tomorrow at my moms group everyone is bringing different cookies and treats to try. I started out just making one batch of cookies, but then I went a little crazy..and I had two little helpers that were my taste testers. Gracie has to take snack to preschool on Friday so I made some extras. Then on Saturday we head over to Gigi's house to make some more yummy cookies. Monday I head with a friend to another playgroup to make cookies...AND then on Tuesday playgroup is my house so I figured...why not make cookies..so yes we are make sugar cookies with the kids. AHHH!! Good thing I've been going to my step aerobics class, i'm going to need it these next few weeks!!!! And yes, that is my kitchen in the last pictures, what a mess!!!

Mommy and me class

Ever since Gracie was born i've been signing her up for classes. Being the firstborn I couldn't wait to have her join everything. When Charlie was born i'd just drag him along to all of her things. Then I realized that he might actually like to do something on his own with mommy. So i found this great class at the YMCA. The kids get to run around and basically go crazy in the gymnastics area. There is everything you could thing of for a kid his age to do. He LOVES it!! As soon as we get in the YMCA he starts jumping up and down. And I love getting to spend some time just with him. I took my camera today since it's the last class until January, but I only got one good shot before my batteries died.

Playgroup

A group of us decided to try out the bounce house...i've seen these places popping up everywhere. It's a little expensive...but my kids loved it, and Charlie was free, so it was worth it. They get to play for a little over an hour and I don't think either one stopped moving. They all especially loved the slide. Afterwards we drug all the kids to a yummy lunch at Steak and Shake. Then we headed home and all took a nap..ya even mommy rested for a bit.:)
