Yum..strawberries!!!

Wade's parents have a garden at their house and the kids love going over there and helping them plant/harvest/eat all the fruits and veggies. This year their strawberries did awesome and they have more than they can handle..really, it's a LOT! We took home a ton..I froze some, and we ate a LOT! And homegrown strawberries taste SO much better than store bought ones!

School Carnival

Gracie's school had an end of the year carnival and the kids LOVED it! Gracie's favorite part was getting to throw whip cream pies at her principal!

And then Charlie got to throw some pies at Gracie's teacher!

So I don't forget (and I will!) here are Addy's 6 month stats:

Height: 28 inches (98th)

Weight: 18.11 pounds (90th)

Ya, she's big..my biggest baby yet. The nurse had to measure her twice, she couldn't believe how long she was, and how much she'd grown. I already have to take her out of her pumpkin seat because she's so heavy. My back will never be the same.

Waking up

I love going in to get Adalyn up after her nap...it never gets old to me. I love that she greets me with a huge smile. I love to pick her up and kiss her over and over. The other day I snuck in to see her sleeping and this is how I found her. It cracked me up! Must be rough being six months old!

She heard me and quickly looked up. And there's that smile!

Mother's Day 2010

I had another great Mother's day, and my first with THREE children! Gracie brought me breakfast in bed (a bowl full of strawberries with a LOT of sugar on them) and a beautiful card she's made. Then she told me that I was getting the maids in a few weeks (thank you Wade!) All I wanted was for a deep cleaner to come in and deep clean my house from top to bottom..I know it's boring, but it really is the best present in the world! :) We spent Saturday celebrating Wade's mom and Sunday my family came over and we celebrated my mom, and she got a new camera - woo-hoo! I meant to take more pictures, but this is all I got.

And the thing that made me the happiest on this Mother's day is that my baby girl got dedicated to the Lord at church. What a special day to give my baby girl over to the Lord..on Mother's day. It was a perfect day, 70 degrees, a light breeze, we sat out on the back deck and ate and ate...I couldn't ask for more...

Six Months Old!

I feel like I was just in the hospital last week giving birth to my sweet baby girl..but somehow six months have past! I have so enjoyed these last six months and I can't imagine life without Adalyn. She is the sweetest baby, so laid back and just always happy. At eight weeks she started sleeping through the night and it's continued since, which is amazing! We moved her up to her room with Gracie, but after being sick a few weeks ago, she's back in our room and we just haven't moved her back...I think she may be our last..and we are having a hard time letting her go to her "big girl" room.

Addy's started rolling..in fact she can roll all over the room. I put her down in one area and within a few minutes she's on the other side of the room. I'm not ready to have her crawling, but I think it's coming whether I like it or not...:)

I can only hope the next six months will be this great...

Mother's Day Tea

Charlie has his Mother's day tea a few days before Mother's day and I got to have a special breakfast with him. Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture with him!

Fun Photo Shoot

I was getting ready for a newborn shoot at my house the other day. I was testing the light and setting things up and figured what better way to test things out than with a real live baby! So Addy was happy to oblige...:) I had some fun, but I'm sure she'll be mad at me someday for doing this to her! :)

Tuckered out!

This bouncer is Addy's favorite..you can bounce in it for quite a while. The other day she was bouncing away and I was cleaning. I came by to check on her and found her like this...
