Charlie's Playgroup
The MOMS group I attend has been such a blessing. The kids have really gotten to know a lot of great kids. We meet monthly and then each age group has a playgroup once a month. Charlie just moved up to the 2 year old playgroup and so we had our first playgroup with them. Charlie had a blast, and Gracie really had a good time too. The kids got to make their own pizzas and then follow that up with cupcakes! What could be better?!?! Charlie especially loved all the little boy toys around the house....I really need to get him more so he stops playing with Gracie's dress up! :)

New Friends
We've been meeting some really nice families in Edwardsville and a lot of them have recently moved here just like us...a few weeks ago we met a family with a girl Gracie's age and a boy close to Charlie's age. That is always a blessing as then they each have a buddy.
Yesterday I watched these two adorable kiddos while mom had a doctor's apt. And believe it or not, four kids wasn't too bad. They played with eachother and had a good time. They all especially loved going down to the basement and riding bikes around in a circle. What a fun day we had!!!
Here are all four of them in the basement
These girls had so much fun playing together
He loved riding in this car
Silly girls!!
I thought this was the cutest picture!
Quite the week!!!
Well anyone who knows my husband knows that he is on the frugal side. He doesn't just buy things when he wants them, he waits until it's on sale, or we absolutely need it...that's why I got my wonderful vacuum. Well, he will do some crazy things to save a little money. Last week he entered in a contest on our local talk station. He had to guess who was going to win the awards at the Academy Awards. Now we haven't seen any of the movies, but Wade decided he would enter. AND he beat out 250 other applicants!!! No I'm not kidding!!! And his winning prize....A FLAT SCREEN T.V!!!
He is ecstatic!!!

I love my husband (and the creator of Dyson)!!
Annual bowlathon!!
Yesterday was the annual Mueller family bowlathon...what a blast! It was the first time that Wade and I have been able to be a part of it. You are matched up with a partner so that each team is guy/girl and then you get to bowl three rounds. Then for the last round it's "crazy bowl" where you have to bowl backwards, under your partner's legs...it was hilarious. The kids got to help out at that point. We had a really good time and we can't wait for next year!
This is only half of the group
Gracie and her aunties
Cousin Liz let Gracie play with her for crazy bowl and Gracie thought it was so much fun!
Daddy took Charlie and let him help out, he got mad because the bowling ball was too heavy.
Here is some of the group during crazy bowl....what a fun time!

Gymnastics buddies
I forgot to add these last week. This is the highlight of Charlie's week..he LOVES going to his mommy and me gymnastics class. He loves jumping on the trampoline and into the foam pit. He has two buddies in the class that he looks forward to seeing each week. These boys are all close in age and all have older sisters....I think they will be buddies for life!
Here they are all really excited to get a stamp at the end of class. Charlie gets one on each hand and then on each foot.

Thank you to all who fight for freedom
I saw this online and thought it was very powerful and should be seen by all. You'll have to turn off my music down below to hear the song that goes with the post...sorry.
Many times we (myself included) get caught up in our day to day life and we forget about the men and women fighting and dying for our lives. If you get a moment...stop and say a prayer for them.

Turn up your volume
theres a song!
You stay up for 16 hours.
He stays up for days on end.

You take a warm shower to help you wake up.
He goes days or weeks without running water.

You complain of a "headache", and call in sick.
He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forward.

You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go meet up with your friends.
He still fights for your right to wear that shirt.

You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't with you.
He knows he may not see some of his buddies again.

You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls.
He patrols the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists.
..
You complain about how hot it is.
He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow.

You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong.
He doesn't get to eat today.

Your maid makes your bed and washes your clothes.
He wears the same things for weeks, but makes sure his weapons are clean.

You go to the mall and get your hair redone.
He doesn't have time to brush his teeth today.

You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over.
He's told he will be held over an extra 2 months.

You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight.
He waits for the mail to see if there is a letter from home.

You hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday.
He holds his letter close and smells his love's perfume.

You roll your eyes as a baby cries.
He gets a letter with pictures of his new child, and wonders if they'll ever meet.

You criticize your government, and say that war never solves anything.
He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own people and remembers why he is fighting.

You hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like him.
He hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded.

You see only what the media wants you to see.
He sees the broken bodies lying around him.

You are asked to go to the store by your parents. You don't.
He does exactly what he is told even if it puts his life in danger.

You stay at home and watch TV.
He takes whatever time he is given to call, write home, sleep, and eat.
