Cousins...

Wade's mom bought the kids matching dresses, they are adorable and they all look so cute in them. We tried to do a littel mini photo shoot with them, but it was quite the task..especially with a newborn and an 8 month old on the go. We managed to get a few cute ones..

Mackenzie at 8 months...she's already pulling up, she'll be walking very soon!
All four kiddos, two looking at me..oh well!
I got Gracie looking at me..I love how Charlie is hugging Mac, he sure does love her!
I had them yell something..they were getting pretty silly here...
Big smiles! Kenz sure did like that bell!

5 weeks

I'm a little behind on taking pictures of Adalyn...here she is at five weeks, she's 7 weeks now (wow!)
She is growing and changing so much each week! She eats a LOT! She was born at 8 pounds and was 9'7 at one month, I can't wait to find out how big she is at 2 months. She is constantly eating, but luckily only wakes up once at night. She is starting to get the baby chub and filling out. She's almost out of her 0-3 month clothes...the 3 month ones fit her perfectly. She's starting to smile more...mostly at Gracie and Charlie, but occasionally I get one. She's starting to lift her head and look around. I'm already a little sad that the newborn stage is almost over, but I'm so excited to watch her grow and see what will come next!

Gingerbread houses

The library had a gingerbread making activity for the kids and they were really looking forward to it..it was fun to watch how they decided to decorate their house, each kid made theirs so differently, it's so fun to see their creativity.
Oops, I went backwards..here's Charlie's finished product, pretty good!
And Gracie's..man these were hard to transport home! Making the houses involved a LOT of taste testing...

O Christmas Tree..how lovely are your branches!

We've started a traditon with the kids of driving out to a tree farm and cutting down our tree. I did it as a kid and now my kids really enjoy it. The love walking through the forest and looking for that "perfect tree." However, it was pretty cold this year and Adalyn is still so little, so we drove out to the farm and let the kids pick one that was already cut. It save a lot of time and I don't think they even knew the difference.
Addy's first trip to the tree farm
Gracie really liked this one... And this was Charlie's favorite
It was a cold, but beautiful night.
A quick photo..you can tell Gracie was cold..:)

The little tree

The kids have a little tree that they get to decorate and put upstairs. I let them decorate it however they want, and then they fight over who gets to have it in their room each night. :)
Being silly!
Already taller than the tree
What a smile!
Getting taller....
Her first ornament
Charlie told me this was his favorite ornament this year.

Thangsgiving 2009

We had another great Thanksgiving..and an extra special one since it was Adalyn's first! And she was even awake for a bit of it. We spent Thanksgiving day at my parent's house and we my aunt and uncle got to join us. The food was great and we once again were reminded of just how much we have and how thankful we are for all that God has blessed us with...we feel so lucky.
Auntie Mimi and Addy The whole gang..and dang I didn't get a picture the next day with Wade's family..bummer!
Wade and John carving the big bird
I LOVE turkey!
I tried to take a picture of these two in their super cute hats they made at school...but they were NOT having it...
And neither was Addy! :)

A lot has been going on!

I am really enjoying having a new baby in the house, but wow, at times it feels like we have ten kids instead of three! Addy is such a good baby and so that helps a lot, but it seems to take me forever to get anywhere, and even longer to get pictures up on my blog! Here a few from the last few weeks.
Adalyn LOVES her swing, it so do we, it seems to always calm her down..I love how peaceful she looks when sleeping..almost make me want another...almost. :)
Addy's first time meeting her cousin Mackenzie.
Grace and Charlie fight constantly over who gets to hold/feed/look at her. She is one lucky girl to have so much attention!
First bath..hmm..not too bad!
