Pre-K Graduation- Class of 2022 (WOW!)

Well my firstborn has finished preschool/pre-k and is now a kindergarten! I was secretly glad that Gracie was born in September and had to wait an extra year to start kindergarten. She would have been ready, but I don't know if I was...kindergarten here is full days. It was nice to have her around for one last year...(sniff, sniff). I'm so happy to see how much she's learned and she is soooo excited to start "big school" in the fall. Gracie has really enjoyed playing with boys this year..and there were a lot of them in her class, so she had a blast! A little blurry, but the only one I got of me and my girl Gigi and Charlie came along to watch Gracie on her big day!

Charlie's end of the year picnic

Today Charlie had his end of the year picnic (and Gracie has hers tomorrow). He was super excited to get to go and see his teacher and his friends again. He was hesitant about school in the beginning, but now he loves it. In the fall he'll go two days a week and one of those days he'll stay after school for lunch and more play (to give mommy a break). His school is so awesome and I'm so happy we found a place he enjoys so much. Charlie and the best 2 year old teacher, Mrs. Burns Charlie and his buddies Gavin and Caden Gracie (squinting) and Auntie KK Gracie (squinting again, the sun was bright!) and Nanna Gracie and the best Pre-K teacher Mrs. Ransick After the picnic we headed home to open some presents my mom has brought for the kiddos. Their favorite was the new sprinkler, and since it was 85 degrees today, we got that going right away! No hot day is complete without a popsicle! Nanna and the kids enjoying thier cold treat!

I had a few family photo shoots this weekend and I like to practice a little beforehand...and the only kids I have to use or my own. I have to bribe them, but I can usually get a smile or two out of them. I will tell you though, other families are a lot easier to take photos of them my own!

Parent's Brunch

Last Friday Gracie's school has a parent's brunch and Wade and I were both able to go. We had a blast, and the food was good!

I love being a mom!!

I had another great Mother's day! We spend Saturday with Wade's family and it was so great to get to see baby Mackenzie again, she's growing fast! I took my little camera, but I only got a picture or two before it died..grrr. On Sunday we met up with my family and we had a great lunch out. Then we came back to our house for a fun game of baseball, boccie ball, and a water fight. Gracie gave me a beautiful jewelry box that she had picked out all by herself and Charlie gave me some beautiful flowers to plant in the yard. My wonderful hubby made me an awesome flower box AND bought me a patio set...I am so blessed and my backyard feels like a retreat!
