Back to school carnival

I haven't been too good at taking pictures recently, but here's what we've been up to the last few days. On Sunday our church had a carnival for all the kids in the community. It was a blast! Wade was helping to run a booth so I didn't get a chance to get too many pics of the kids, but here's a few. They especially loved the bouncy house and the free snow cones!

Yummy Grapes!

Just down the road from Wade's parents house there is a cute little vineyard with some HUGE grapes. The kids stayed the night with Gigi and Pappa and as soon as we got there to pick them up they wanted to go and pick some grapes. They had a great time and ate as much as they could, and then we got to take some home! Walking back to Gigi and Pappas house

New Baby!

NO, NO, it's not me...but I am soooo excited to announce that my sister-in-law Jill (Wade's brother's wife) is pregnant!!! Yay, this means that my kiddos will finally get a cousin! We are sooo excited! Wes and Jill have been awesome with our kids, so we know they are going to make great parents. Way to go you two, congrats!

Santa Claus, Indiana

Well, FINALLY I got around to getting all our pictures on here. We had such a great time and it was so nice to have some friends along to enjoy the weekend with us. It was nice to have one last getaway before school starts. Enjoy the pics!

I didn't take my camera with me to Holiday World, but the kids has an absolute blast. We stayed from 9:30-7:30 and it was great. In fact the weather the whole weekend was unbelievable. It didn't get over 85 during the day, the humidity was low and it cooled way off in the evening. Holiday World had so many ride that both the kids could ride on. Gracie was fearless and wanted to ride everything. Charlie and Gavin stuck together and loved all the ride for their age. Wade and I were even able to go on a few roller coasters. We also went over to Splashin Safari and went on some of the water rides. It felt great to cool off. Gracie loved the wave pool and Charlie and Wade found a little kids area with slide perfect for Charlie. We had such a good time, see you later Holiday World! Recently Gracie has been fascinated with crystals and rocks. We were excited to find out that the campground has a place where kids can pan for gold and special rocks. She was so excited!

It was so nice for the kids to have some of their friends along. We had two other couples that were there, so Gracie had two friends her age. Charlie, Maya and Felicity The whole gang Charlie and Gavin really got along great this trip. They've been friends for almost a year, but usually avoid eachother or parallel play. But this trip they were inseperable, they had such a good time together, it was cute to see them two of them having so much fun.
