Is Summer over yet???

Thanks for coming to visit us Karin, we had a great time with you! We can't wait to have you and Linnea come and visit. Oh, and happy almost birthday, you may be turning the big 50, but you don't look a day over 30! My aunt was in town this weekend from Spokane and she was as shocked as we were that all weekend the weather was in the 90's. No, this is not common, and so strange to be so warm in October. It is suppose to last a few more days and then head down in the 70's. I told Wade that I refuse to go and pick pumpkins until it cools down.

MidWest weather can be so crazy. I remember when I lived in Iowa City in college, on my birthday (which is in mid-october) it was 88 degrees and my friend and I layed out in the sun... 2 weeks later, it was snowing! Crazy... that was 10 years ago exactly because it was my freshman year. Anyway, enjoy the warm for a couple more days, because it's about to get really, really cold! Happy Pumpkin Picking!
