An Apple a Day.....
My kids LOVES apples!! And they refuse to let me cut them up into cute little slices. No, they want them whole, they usually eat at least one a day. Isn't that crazy? But, they've both been sick the last few days, so it wasn't doing the trick. Oh well, at least I got some cute pics of them being crazy....we were starting to get a little cabin fever after being stuck indoors sick for so many days.....
I'm still alive!!
Sorry my fellow bloggers...i don't think i've gone this long without blogging...i'm SOOO sorry. The fam and I have been a bit under the weather. One person gets sick, then they get better and the next person gets sick. Ugh....so I haven't had time to get any good pics. Yesterday we had an awesome day at the Children's Museum in St. Louis, but I forgot my camera!! Ahhh!! Anyway, i promise I'll get some on here really soon!

Is Winter over???
Today was awesome!!! It reached a high of 70 degrees!!! When we arrived home on Thursday it was 14 degrees, and now it's 70!! The kids are loving it, we bbq'd and they got to eat lunch outside. Gracie dug up her flip flops and wore them all around. It was so much fun to run around outside!
Then we put Charlie down for a nap and Gracie and I played together for a bit. Mom you will be so proud, Gracie has been a puzzle making machine! She loves it and she can do them all by herself.
Anyway, what a great Sunday, i hope it's like this tomorrow!!

I'm back!!!
Well we had a great time in Washington, we managed to see almost everybody. It was a whirlwind, but so much fun at the same time. I'm already missing everyone, but glad to get back to our routine and daily life, but we can't wait to get back again. Thanks for everyone who let us stay at their houses, and for all the great food. We want you all to know that we would love to have any of you out to Illinois anytime you want, you are always welcome.
Well, welcome to 2008!! I can't believe it's here. This year I will turn 30 (ugh), Wade and I will celebrate 6 years of marriage (wow), Charlie will turn 2 and Grace will turn 5...wow time is just flying by!!
I don't really make resolutions, but this year i'm going to try and read my Bible more. I've also decided that for lent i'm going to give up soda AND chocolate. I know, i'm crazy. Wade is catholic and he has always given something up for lent. I'm not catholic but i think it's a good idea so i always go along with him. Basically you give something up that is really hard for you to resist and everytime you struggle with it you pray and rely on God to help you resist it. So, I decided to go all out this time. Lent starts in the beginning of Feburary and goes through until Easter. Who else wants to join me??? You can choose anything you want to give up, but it has to be hard...no giving up gizzards or underwear....however that may be hard for some of you:)
Enjoy the pictures, there is several pages of them. Talk to you all soon! May God bless you in the New Year!!!
More fun pics
On New Years eve everybody was feeling sick, so Wade and I took Kate out for a few drinks. Then we came home and played Apples to Apples with the family and ate way too much until we rang in the New Year with Dick Clark. On the 1st we headed over to our old neighborhood again and the boys watch football and all of us girls just sat and talked, and the kids played Twister and watched movies...I miss you guys already!!!
Happy New Year, welcome to 2008!!!
Visit to the Vaden's
Monday we headed over to Snoqualmie to meet up and have lunch with our good friends. We were excited to see their new home and since it was such a nice day out we headed to the park to let the kids run out some energy. Thanks again for the steaks, Wade's still talking about how good they were. We miss you guys, can't wait to see you guys again.
All the kids, minus Charlie. Ravenna holding Bronson, Silas and Gracie
