Third times the charm!
We had been going back and forth on whether we were content with two kids or if we wanted a third. We talked about it a lot, and then decide to just leave it up to God, and well...he answered quickly! :) We are super excited!! Gracie wants a sister, Charlie wants a brother, and I don't care, but I can't wait to find out (June 25th).
I am due on Nov. 9th (which is Wade's birthday) and also two days before my birthday, not to mention about 6 other family members who have their birthday during that month too...so it will be a busy month! I was not enjoying the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. I was really sick this time, and so unbelievably tired. But the fog lifted about a week ago and I am full of energy! Here is a pic of our little bean...it's amazing how they look like a baby so early on.

Trip to the beach
One of the things the kids miss most about Washington is the beach...so we found a lake nearby that has a huge beach full of sand (i'm sure it was shipped in and there are no seashells) but they loved it. However, it was super windy and I didn't want to get sand in my lens, so I only got a few pics.
Spring has sprung!
We love the warm weather!

Happy Easter 2009
We celebrated Easter with my family last weekend (pictures to come soon) and then we spent this last weekend with Wade's family. The Easter bunny came to our house early in the morning and then we headed out to church. Here are a few pics of the kids before we headed out (and before the ruined their outfits)

Fun in the rain!
For the last month our church has been doing the 30 days to live challenge. Basically you imagine the what if...what if you only had 30 days to live? What would you do differently or the same? The first day we started this the Pastor at a nearby church was shot during the morning service. And just a week ago a little girl that lived a half mile away died after an accident while playing with her brother in a culvert. I started to really take this challenge seriously and re-evaluate my life. I already feel like I try to embrace each day, but daily life has its hassles (laundry, grocery shopping etc.). I've tried to just take little moments to really enjoy my family. I've spent special little moments with my hubby, I've snuck upstairs at night just to watch my kids sleep, and I've made sure to tell others in my life just how important they are to me. And most of all I've spend a few more quiet moments thanking God for all these wonderful blessings He's given me.
So when we had a big rain last week I told the kids to get on their rain boots and get their umbrella's. Then I let them run outside and jump in all the puddles...and they LOVED it, I mean really LOVED it! It was so fun to do something spontaneous and wild!
