Welcome to Edwardsville......

Well it has been a crazy two weeks....we had a really fun ride out here with Gracie. It was great to get to spend some time just with her. We made a few stops along the way, but she did so good in the car, including the day that we drove 15 hours!! Ya, Wade is my trucker daddy now:) We couldn't wait to get to see Charlie and he was not so happy to see us. He wouldn't look at us for a good hour, but once he'd gotten his point across then he wouldn't let us go. He had a fun week of being spoiled with his Gigi and Pappa. The kids love their new place and all the space!! Gracie loves her new room that is built with a little walk in closet where she can reach all of her clothes. She especially loves the basement where she is free to ride her bike in the nice cool air conditioning. Yes, the one downfall...it is HOT!! Wade and his brother stained our deck today and it hit 94 degrees....ahhhh!!! The kids and I stayed cool inside and we'd head out for a few minutes and then run back into the coolness. However, it turns into a beautiful night once the sun is down. We took the kids to a little fair in town and it felt great, must have been about 80 degrees (i know, that is still hot). They loved it though, the rode some rides and then we got to sit and watch a great fireworks show. So far we are really enjoying our new town, but at times we miss all of our great friends and family back in Washington. We wish we could bring you all out here for a visit. Please know you are all welcome whenever you can make it. We just found out that our great friends Jim and Casey will visiting us next weekend on their way out to Seattle...we are so excited for our first visitors!!! Wade had his first day of work and he seems really excited..however i think he's more excited about his new truck. I am excited about the new house and all the extra space for all our CRAP!! I have a ton of pictures to put on here but i haven't found the cord to download them onto the computer...i'm sure it will show up soon. Meanwhile, we miss you guys a lot and you are all in our prayers.

You made it! Hooray! 94 degrees huh? Ah, heck, you aren't really livin in the Midwest until you hit a big fat juicy 100 with about 80% humidity. :-) j/k Glad everyone is safe!
