We tried about a month ago to potty train Charlie and he was not wanting any of it. So I gave up and figured I'd just wait until he was three. Well, Friday evening Gracie was at my parents house and Charlie was watching a movie with daddy. Wade told me Charlie got up and went into a corner, Wade knew this meant he was going to go potty in his diaper, so Wade sent him upstairs to go on his little potty. Well, to our utter disbelief he did!! He walked upstairs by himself, took off his diaper and peed!! Well we were all excited, we loaded him in the car and took him to Target to pick out a prize. I knew it might just be a one time deal, but I was excited none the less. Well, it's Wednesday now and he's been going potty (yes even poop!) in the potty since Friday!!!! He's had one accident, and that's it!! He still wears a diaper at night, but when he gets up, he takes it off and puts on his underwear. Even today as I was sending out some e-mails in the basement, i heard Charlie go upstairs. I didn't pay much attention to him until he came down again to tell me he had pooped in the potty!!! Ya, I am soooo proud of him! I hope it keeps going! I've been rewarding him with jelly beans, licorice, and candy corn, and it's working!! I can't believe I have TWO potty trained children....how crazy!!

Potty Trained!!

Oh man I am so jealous!!! Adrie only did #2 that one time in the potty and went downhill from there. She, too, wanted NONE of it! So we gave up for the summer and decided to attempt again at a later time. Hopefully soon we'll try again?
LUCKY DUCK! Max still hasn't pooped in the potty! WE have a toy sitting up high to give to him when he does! Can't wait until that day! He is standing to go potty now which is nice...but VERY messy!
