Well I am super late posting this....we've been sooo busy lately! We had a great trip to Chicago, the first for the kids and I! However, since it was freezing the whole time, I don't think we really got a great view of the city. I was hardly able to even take pics, it was really cold! But we managed to have fun anyway.The first night we stayed at an indoor waterpark that the kids absolutely LOVED! I didn't get any pictures because I didn't want to lug my big camera around and then worry about it getting stolen, and it was nice to just enjoy the moment. I think we could have stayed there all weekend and the kids would have been fine. Gracie especially loved that she was big enough to go down all the water slides alone.
The next night we stayed right downtown on the 4oth floor...we could see the Hancock building right out our window. Even though it was freezing we still braved the cold and walked around a bit. My parents were there with us, so we all went out to eat the famous deep dish pizza...and man it was GOOD! We visited the Aquarium, which the kids enjoyed. We fit a lot into our weekend and we can't wait to get back again and see the city in the summer!

Sounds like a fun trip. I can't wait to go back to the indoor water park here. Gotta wait until the little is a bigger.

I love to get away from home, so I am jealous (LOL)! Looks like you guys had fun. I love all of the pictures of your trip, Gracie's gymnastics, and your little sis's birthday. I love how you have them displayed in the boxes. So cool!
