We decided to spend the first day of 2009 in the outdoors. We have been wanting to find a nice spot to hike and we found it! It was a little cold out, but we bundled up and headed out. It felt great to get some fresh air and exercise, and the kids loved it! We saw an Indian tepee and a house made from sod. The kids collected all kind of nuts and rocks. The best part was that they were asleep before we left the parking lot!
